SRAM has released its much-anticipated XX cross-country group. As expected, the group is built around a 10-speed rear cassette paired with a double-chainring up front, instead of the standard triple. So instead of the familiar 3x9 configuration, Bell & Ross replica watches incorporates a 2x10 setup (hence the name). As with SRAM’s top-end road group, Red, the middle eight cogs of the XX rear cassette are forged from a single piece of steel that has been hollowed out to save weight and clear mud and dirt. Though this is SRAM’s first complete mountain-bike group, it would be a stretch to say the company was starting from scratch. SRAM has been a leading manufacturer of mountain-bike derailleurs for several years.
